Message
The Department of Operative Dentistry is one of the largest department of Sindh Institute of Oral Health sciences consists of three/ four divisions: Basic Restorative Dentistry, Endodontics , Paedodontics . This department is focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases or trauma to teeth. Our goal is to support the academic activities of the institution through teaching, patient care and research. We emphasize on preclinical operative dentistry to provide high quality training to undergraduate students on the basis of contemporary method.
Our dental staff members are all involved in service rendering to the community, and moving into a new era in which dentistry incorporates advances in genetic, oral biology and materials sciences research in undergraduate and postgraduate studies. We believe on interprofessional education in order to gain a better appreciation of dental health. I am proud to be a leader of this team and my responsibility to take this department up to the higher rank and to make pride in this remarkable institution.
