Message
It is my pleasure to welcome you all to the website of Sindh Institute of Oral Health Sciences at Jinnah Sindh Medical University.
The Department of Biochemistry is one of the Basic Science Departments, dedicated to Undergraduate Medical studies since 1973 when Sindh Medical College was established. The newly upgraded university has been functioning since 1st June 2012 as one of the leading Medical Institutions in Pakistan. The Department since its inception has grown under the leadership of renowned Biochemistry teachers, imparting quality education.
I am confident that our Department will progress and cover the important areas of Dental Medical education and the Department's faculty, staff and students will together rise up to meet this challenge. As In-charge of the Dental section of Biochemistry Department, my main objective is to ensure that the experience of the staff is exclusively directed towards their professional development. I further seek to recruit, retain and—to the best of my ability—mentor the faculty who teach BDS students.
I pray to ALLAH ALMIGHTY that the Institution continues to produce quality health care professionals who graduate to become leaders in their respective Medicinal Dental discipline.
