Welcome to Department of Periodontology and Oral Medicine in Sindh Institute of Oral Health Sciences at Jinnah Sindh Medical University. Our mission is to advance education through leadership and advocacy. We prepare professionals who are committed to life-long learning and research.
We aim to train students to fully grasp the importance and basics of the healthy Periodontium and disease-free oral cavity, as well as diagnose, plan and execute treatment for various oral and periodontal diseases. Students are also taught about the International Protocols for Charting, Classifying and Diagnosing diseases.
We tend to shape character, caliber and future of an individual by engaging in current challenges in the field and by encouraging students to participate in multidisciplinary work that deals with real clinical problems in forward-looking ways.
