ABOUT PDC - IME

The Professional Development Centre (PDC) is located on the 3rd floor of the Library building, Jinnah Sindh Medical University. The Centre develops and conducts skills training for the undergraduate and postgraduate programs and the faculty to learn relevant clinical skills, under supervision of qualified and experienced faculty members. A variety of models, mannequins and simulators are available to develop clinical and procedural skills essential for safe and efficient healthcare practice.

The Clinical Skills Curriculum is based on the current needs of our own health setting and includes proficiency in essential skills including monitoring of vital signs, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, common procedural skills as well as communication skills.
