VISION, MISSION & GOALS

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

  • 1. Produce Physical Therapists having skills in assessment & treatment of various specialties such as musculoskeletal, sports, neurological, cardio-respiratory, geriatrics, Pediatrics, gynecological & obstetric disorders.
  • 2. Prepare students to have sound understanding of research methodology, conduct research, collect data and perform analysis and interpretation to draw valid conclusion to apply in clinical practice.
  • 3. Prepare students & faculty with the ability to engage in lifelong learning and growth in the field of physical Therapy and to understand professional and ethical responsibilities.
  • 4. Participates actively in professional workshops, seminars and conferences.

PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES

After completion of the program graduates will be able to;

  • 1- Practice Physical Therapy autonomously and be employed in variety of health care settings that include primary, secondary and tertiary care including community care.
  • 2- Liaise with other stake holders to improve patient care and respond to societal health care needs by participation in voluntary work during and after their studies.
  • 3- Have the opportunity to enroll in post graduate courses after completion of their studies.
  • 4- Play leading role within their communities and profession.
  • 5- Encourage lifelong learning by continuing participation in workshops, seminars, conferences and other related trainings.
  • 6- Encourage evidence based practice and participate in research by producing at least one abstract & article in group student activity
