VICE CHANCELLOR MESSAGE ON PM&DC ORDINANCE 1962

Dear Faculty Members, Students and the Well-Wishers of the University,

I am happy and pleased to inform you that with the grace of Almighty Allah and with the prayers of our well-wishers and hard work and untiring efforts of our faculty and especially our Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Lubna Baig the Ministry of National Health Services Regulations & Coordination has notified the approval of both the Jinnah Sindh Medical University and Sindh Institute of Oral Health Sciences in First and Fifth Schedule of Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) Ordinance 1962.

This is indeed a great achievement in the life of the University. All of you are fully aware of the obstacles that we have to face in getting these notifications despite the recommendation of Pakistan Medical & Dental Council.

This progress has placed our University and Dental College in the list of recognized institutes and amongst the best in the country. We pledge to strive hard to achieve our objectives. I myself is highly obliged to the President of Pakistan Medical & Dental Council Dr. Shabir Lahri, the Executive Committee and Council of PM&DC, Honorable Mrs. Saira Afzal Tarar, Minister of National Health Services Regulations & Coordination and Mr. Ayub Sheikh, Secretary National Health Services Regulations & Coordination for their support in getting the notification issued
